The Map & Method are Missing

Authors David Icke and Paul Levy (to whom Icke refers) agree upon the life-threatening problem humanity faces and its ultimate, transcendent solution. Both praise the quantum process of heightened perception called lucid dreaming. However, neither gives us the literal map required to understand its context or the practical methods derived from the map through which we can actually accomplish their recommended solution: achieving expanded/heightened self-awareness.

What’s missing from their picture is the Quantum Paradigm. Only by adding it to the mix will we be equipped to put their theory into action, have the tools with which to turn possibility into direct experience.

In The Road Map: Escaping the Maze of Madness, Icke gives us the words. On p. 508, he writes:

What is the biggest cause of the problem? It is self-identity. . . What you think you are you will be. Self-identify as a human and the labels of human and you create that limitation from your belief in limitation . . .

But identify as a boundless Spirit — pure disembodied awareness — and a point of attention within infinite attention and you expand ever further into the infinity of potential, possibility. insight, awareness that reunites your connection to the Divine Spark and All That Is, Has Been, and Ever Can Be.

Here’s how the Quantum Paradigm pictures the totality of human potential of which Icke speaks:

By personalizing the Wheel, each of us can extrapolate from this ideal whether or not our personal levels are aligned and in balance, as well as where there are fractures/deficits and there’s significant work to be done to restore innate wholeness.

On p. 507, Icke writes:

Scientists claim to have found that lucid dreaming, when you know it’s a dream and direct the dream, is a whole different level of consciousness with reduced beta brain waves and an increase of gamma waves. . . you become the observer of the dream and cease to be caught in its fantasies. You tap into a whole new expanded level of awareness.

Plugged into the Life Wheel, the increasingly deeper states of waking, dream and dreamless sleep described in the Upanishads and measured in biofeedback terms, looks like this. Which indicates that, though never Icke or Levy give it note, traditional meditative practices are a powerful tool available for the linking of the levels which result in the lucid dreaming state called turyia – where the observer is fully conscious, linking the levels in an infinite loop to be both “here and there” at once.

Icke writes:

. . Oppression depends entirely on human disconnection from the Divine Spark and the ignorance and naivety that ensures.

This translates into the image of a fragmented Life Wheel:

In summarizing Part I of The Quantum Revelation: Awakening to the Dreamlike Nature of Reality, Paul Level concludes:

Quantum physics is revealing that, just like a dream, the boundary between the inner and outer domains, however conventionally useful, do not ultimately exist.

Instead of being passive, impotent cogs in a machine, quantum physics reveals to us that we are active participants and co-creators with the universe, playing a key role in the moment-by-moment creation of our experience. . .

Once we assimilate the revelations emerging from quantum physics within our minds, not only do we see the world differently, but our realization helps the world — in true quantum style, potentially — to manifest differently. This is to say that the revelations emerging from quantum physics can change the world.

Icke writes:

To be ‘awake’ to infinity in such circumstances is not possible without a redefining of reality on a scale that is hard to even imagine.

Exactly! It requires a worldwide shift from the hollow and limiting materialistic empirical science paradigm to the complete and accurate Quantum Paradigm.

In the Summary to Part 2 of his book, Levy summarizes what Icke takes 500+ pages to express:

Quantum physics is reflecting back to us that, as if under a spell, our natural ability to create reality is for the most part being wielded unconsciously, where it gets turned against ourselves in a way that is not only not serving us, but rather, is potentially destroying us.

It is our task to liberate and engage the power of quantum physics’ revelations for the benefit of everyone. The best way to do this is to partake in the most radical, subversive, and powerful form of activism that there is — recognizing, consciously engaging, and creatively expressing our own quantum nature.

Conclusion

Levy quotes Henry Stapp, whom he acknowledges as the current dean of quantum theorists, who states that, [quantum physics] may ultimately be the most valuable contribution to human civilization, and the key to human survival.

Exactly! He parrots Einstein’s observation, “We shall require a substantially new manner of thinking if mankind is to survive.” This is the very premise of RethinkingSurvival.com.
